Visit Melaka 2024: Experience the Giant Flag Monument at Beruang Hill


"Mana Lagi? Melaka ler…" is the theme for Visit Melaka 2024.

The Malaysia Public Works Department (JKR) Melaka Branch has constructed the Giant Flag Monument on the peak of Bukit Beruang as a tourist attraction. This landmark will be a focal point, especially for hikers. The giant flag is visible from afar with the hill’s height at 382 feet above sea level. The Director-General of Malaysian Public Works, YBhg. Dato’ Ir. Roslan bin Ismail, accompanied by the Director of JKR Melaka Branch, Tuan Ir. Mohamad Salzeli Moktar, visited the Giant Flag Monument at Bukit Bendera. During the visit, a briefing was given by the Director to YBhg. Dato’ KPKR and related delegation regarding the project, while enjoying the scenic view from the hilltop.

In this project, Boss Seven was allowed to decorate various parts of the monument using CLC products. In total, decorative installations such as panels, fences, and signboards used 1,498 square feet of CLC boards and completed within a month. This event will be one of the highlight projects for Boss Seven and will open up to many possibilities collaboration in supplying CLC Foamboard for decoration parts.
